Open will launch the new version of its CIS solution at CS Week 2019

The 43rd CS Week will take place April 9-12 in Phoenix, Arizona, where utility companies, IT providers, and other industry players will come together to discuss the future of customer service. During this conference, Open Intelligence will take the opportunity to introduce the new version of its Smartflex solution.

San Francisco, February 2019. Smartflex is a holistic CIS solution made up of specialized modules that work together as a whole to simplify utility operations; the new version being unveiled at CS Week includes support for the latest industry trends and features an enhanced focus on the customer. Highlighting the virtues of this new product, the company’s US president, Hernando Parrott, had this to say: “Our solution goes beyond a traditional CIS; Smartflex’s features help utilities digitize other business areas such as Field Service, CRM, MDM and control boards, all in a single solution. Additionally, it integrates cohesively with other systems and platforms to improve backend processes and give customers a unified experience”.

Open chose to launch its latest offerings at CS Week because the convention brings together software vendors, industry experts, and major utilities to create a truly unique opportunity for in-depth discussion about the technology that shapes the future of customer service. In this respect, Parrott added “We chose CS Week, the largest utility event in the United States and one of the most important in the world, to showcase this new CIS solution, designed to improve customer experience through the digitalization of end to end processes“.

CS Week’s conference sessions will provide more than 2,000 attendees with the opportunity to learn about how technology is transforming customer service models and what criteria utilities should have in mind when it comes to developing innovative strategies for the digital reinvention of customer experience.

Open will have a strong presence at CS Week, demonstrating its solution at exhibition booth 619, while also taking part in industry conferences and specialized forums. Regarding Open’s involvement in CS Week 2019, Jesus Sanchez, VP of Marketing, commented “We would like to welcome all utilities to join us in a conversation about present and future customer service issues, offer you our over 30 years of experience to overcome industry challenges and why not, 5 minutes of fun”.

Finally, CS Week is an excellent space for utilities to share the challenges they face in their digital transformation journey and the strategies they use to overcome them. On Thursday, April 11, Open will be supporting Chilquinta Energía (Sempra Energy subsidiary) in presenting a story entitled “Creating a Multi-Channel Customer Service Hub Model with Your CIS. During this session, the two companies will share the details of the digital transformation strategy that allowed Chilquinta to transform from an energy supplier to a digital service provider for its customers.
