Open Intelligence and Efigas will unveil their digital transformation story at the TMG Utility Forum

The 2021 TMG Utility Forum will take place on October 12-13 on a virtual platform where industry experts will come together to discuss key topics in the utility industry such as: Data & Analytics, AI-enabled operations, Business Technology Optimization, and much more. At the conference, Open Intelligence and Efigas will present their success story, enhancing customer and business processes with a modern CIS customer service and billing solution on the cloud.

Open Intelligence is excited to join this year’s TMG Utility Forum alongside their client, Efigas, a leading gas company who serves more than 600,000 customers, to talk about how they were able to improve their customer experience with the help of Smartflex, a holistic CIS solution. During the presentation, which will be held on October 12 at 4:15 pm EST, Open and Efigas will go in-depth into the strategy that made the project so successful and how the company has continued to benefit from an 8-year long partnership.

During the presentation, Eduardo Alzate, CFO of Efigas, will explain what challenges the company, wanted to address at the beginning of their digital transformation journey and how they were able to overcome them using cloud technologies. The key takeaways from this joint session will be to:

  • Understand how Efigas was able to deliver new lines of business to boost their profit growth.
  • Learn how Smartflex allowed the company to react quickly to changes in the market and unexpected events like COVID-19.
  • Learn how EFIGAS enhanced its digital innovation capabilities with the right partnership

Joining him will be Hernando Parrott, North American President of Open Intelligence, who will talk more about how a modern and holistic CIS solution can truly be beneficial for the utility of the future.

About the forum, Hernando said,

“Open Intelligence is coming from a successful 2020 and a promising 2021. Despite COVID, we were able to release our first two SaaS customers (600k electric and 30K gas utilities) and are also well into the project implementation processes for our two north American customers. We are very excited to join Eduardo in sharing Efigas’ successful story at TMG’s Utility Forum this year. It has been a real pleasure working with them in this 8-year transformation project.”.
